OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

I gotta fault Cito for this one. Why bring in Gregg in a tie game so early. Camp was in there, give him another inning at least. And then you've got Downs after him.

Not happy.

That is the right move. There's no save situation in an extra inning game at home. You go with your big gun in the 9th there for sure.

Escobar HAS to eat that ball at 2nd. Never make that throw.

Has ME eaten his American sized serving (the servings are disgustingly large here) of crow for Joey Bats yet?

I will if he doesn't revert, sure, and gladly.

As for this season, I'm just enjoying the ride.

I've said it a bunch of times, I believe in outliers, I just refuse to bank on them. Could he be the next Papi, sure, I never said anything other than it was ****ing unlikely...and it is.

Gregg is pretty much NEVER lights out. You can live with it a bit when you have the lead, in a save situation, as he hasn't been prone to giving up too many big innings and can finish off a game with a cushion. But he's probably the last guy in the bullpen that I'd bring in with the game tied, just because he can't seem to get that easy three up three down inning. And anything can happen when you let a runner or two on, as it did tonight.

Blue Jays-Official Kyle Drabek will be making his major league debut on Wednesday vs. Baltimore

Looking forward to that!

Like I said.

Cito just doesn't learn. That's his problem.

Lucky Lind bailed them out today.

3-3 in the bottom of the 8th against the 0's.

Escobar with a two run single in the top of the 8th to tie the game.

Snider looks lost hitting in the leadoff spot. Cito is really trying his best to mess with the kid.

Really pissed I cannot see this game on TV. Stupid Rogers!

News in Jays land.... besides of course getting pounded by the Orioles last night...

Drabek makes his MLB debut tonight and the 2011 schedule has been released with Halladay's Phillies in Toronto on Canada Day(a Friday) and the rest of that weekend.

They start the season at home against Minnesota and finish September with 22 of 26 games against NY, BOS, TB and CWS.

The Pirates and Astros will be the other NL visitors and the Jays will face CIN, ATL, and STL on the road next year. I can't remember the last time the Pirates or Astros came to town, been a while for sure.

Jays lose 3-1 to the O's. Offense has really let the team down the last few games, especially tonight.

Drabeck: 6 IP 9 H 3 ER 3 BB 5 SO

He held his own, wasn't great but showed flashes of why he is here. He'll only get better. And with a little bit of offensive help he may have had a win.

Also, with regards to my comment about Cito doing everything in his power to ruin Snider. Travis Snider is batting 105 with a 255 OPS in the leadoff spot and yet Cito continued to roll him out there consistantly. Finally, tonight he moved him down in the order but right back to #9. :facepalm
