His velocity is something worth monitoring, but I don't think there are any teams in the league that would leave him off a playoff roster.

I would strongly consider ILing him to see if it helps. Dude has been beat to death with the workload this season.

Id strongly consider giving Little a big break too.
 
They’re still using Hoffman in high leverage so he’s not on the verge of being left off the playoff roster.

Berrios is a better pitcher than most of those 1-inning guys and would be a weapon coming out of the pen. He’s also pitched well in the playoffs before.

I can see Scherzer in high leverage relief but still think he starts game 3.

Nance has been money but he has no track record. One bad outing and he’s probably the odd man out.

And yeah they’re not going into October with Lauer as the only LHP, so Little has to make it as well.
