Round 2 | Montréal vs. Boston

I hope you're right about Friday night/Sunday aft -- it suits me fine.

I agree, there is no way the Refs will call this fair. They will close their eyes to all the stick work the ruins are known for. Lucic is the dirtiest goon in the league followed by Chara. Hope the Habs skate well and frustrate them. The league will have to wear the black eye fro the way they let boston get away with murder on the ice. If the ruins try to injure in Montreal I would strongly support criminal charges especially if the league does nothing.
It's playoff hockey not tiddlywinks - unless a player is close to being murdered there should be no penalty. NHL referees are not competent enough as a group to allow them to consistently manage penalty calls during a game, better off them doing nothing, than the cluster fcuk they call their job.

Why did no Hab player ever complain about "stick work" in the 70's? From everything I've read & watched, no star player in the history of the game was abused like Lafleur, yet he did ok, and he had no cement head for protection, just sayin...

LOL.... really? no good spots?

A quick search turned up what may be your answer...

From the first round... gotta assume the second round will be the same

"The Sin Bin is your Montreal Canadiens fan headquarters in Vancouver! Come watch the #Habs take on the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday evening at 4PM. This is a good chance to catch the 4PM game if you've got the day off. It's the PLAYOFFS!"

i have never understood why anyone wants to watch a game in a crowd other than at the game

people want to talk, you cannot pay attention, hear etc

and it costs a fortune

watch in your hotel room, it will be quiet, and free from pests ragging you if we are scored on etc

Expense card... and will likely have to be with clients.... better than not watching it!

Going to be in Vancouver for game 1. Any suggestions for a place to watch the game?

Lots of pubs/bars around the Waterfront.....near Canada Place

I remember watching Game 1 Habs-Capitals when Pleks scored in OT.....I think I was either at Malone's or Cambie's pub and grill....google them
