New president, GM, Head Coach + Staff, New scouting department.

We've been lacking in developing our own prospects the last few years.

We are the mecca of hockey, we should act like it. The best of the best.

Scouting department is fine, we've made great picks for the most part other than a clear Burkie pick in Biggs. We've developed a lot of kids the last few years and the pipeline is healthy.

Where we've been horrific over the past few years, is in free agency. When we open the wallet, we waste our money.

From what I gather the draft is weak esp. for a team picking where the Leafs will be picking. Unless I'm unaware of draft pick they acquired in a trade.

The sad thing about this epic collapse by the Leafs is that if they had just won 2 of their last 6 games (counting this one) they would be fine for the playoffs. It was extremely difficult to play their way out of the playoffs. Looks like they accomplished it.

But let's get serious - we all they weren't winning tonight.
