It's funny, I've been on the trade Rielly bandwagon for many many years. This is the one year where I'm not sure it makes much sense. Between his torched trade value, the stylistic element that he brings, and the amount of cap space they have even keeping him, I don't see much sense in trading him just to trade him at this point.
But maybe he secretly asked to be moved and they're keeping that part of it private out of respect to Mo. It seems to be implicated in some of the reports, though these tmz cunts just make shit up generally so who knows.

The other, most likely possibility, is that Dreger is completely fabricating this report based on his own personal assumptions and repackaging it as genuine “inside information”, like he did with the “they’re most likely bringing back Berube” reports.

Moving Rielly means we need to add an additional PMD on top of the existing need.

I’m not against moving Mo. His best years are behind him, he’s probably overpaid and he can’t play D. They should explore it.
I just find it weird that these guys rumours haven’t changed since the old regime. Chayka/Mats aren’t just going to do what Tre/Pridham were going to do when they still had info cause those guys are leakers.

The only way it makes sense for both polar opposite regimes to have an identical "must trade Mo" philosophy is if Mo asked to be moved. In other other way does it make sense. The tmz crew haven't reported that, BUT Treliving's comments on Mo in that overdrive interview made me not want to rule that out either.
