Maybe waiting until after the marlies games this weekend.
 
They really need to put Matthews and Knies on the IR for the rest of the season. That's the most important thing they can do.
 
Rags win and leafs loss tonight would start horning me up about bottom 5. But they've gotta shut down some of the big boys soon, otherwise they're probably not shit enough to fall that far.

And also 4th last is the goal, not 5th last. Under 50% chance of a top 5 pick if they finish 5th last.

Thrun and groulx are known shit. Chadwick snd haymes are rookies who just figured shit out like 5 days ago. Tho ya I’d give them both burn. Tverberg… whatever.

But Villeneuve is 4 years into his pro career, has had a few solid ahl seasons and plays a position of need. He’s also not waived exempt. They have tons of cap space. It makes no sense.
 
Yeah, if you can't trust Pridham to run the show for a few months and the inhouse scouting staff to run your draft table....what in the actual fuck is going on here?

I genuinely think MLSE sees it as publically embarrassing to fire executives and would rather keep someone terrible ( for all we know they dont even know what terrible management is) than appear to be in dissarray.
 
Groulx had one real shot at age 23 on a craptastic team and flopped big time, but i think he probably deserves one more shot.

Not that there's any high upside there but he could be an nhler.

It'll never not be funny to me that more than just destroying our team in general, these idiots failed most spectacularly in the only thing they cared about - defense.

Making every single decision from an attempt to improve the team defensively, they turned us from a very good defensive team all the way to one of the very, very worst.

just an insane amount of incompetence at work here.
