Does anybody watch Defiance?
It's got a huge budget but I don't know anybody that watches it myself (except myself) and I was surprised it got a second season.

Never heard of it. Any good?

It's good, not great, though at times the science-fiction is pretty fun.
Basically it's not that far in the future and Earth has gone through a botched invasion leaving the planet in shambles and lots of aliens mixed in with the population. You have low-tech because of the collapse mixed in with scavenged alien tech and a pretty far reaching story arc.

Main characters are strong, If you check out season one and make it to the end, I can tell you that season two takes off in a big way.

Anyone still watching Wayward Pines? I decided to stick with it and surprisingly finding it much better than I thought it would be.

Thanks... I'll add it to the list. Sounds intriguing.

For an IT/cybergeek guy I really liked the first episode of Mr Robot with Christian Slater. Kind of like the Matrix meets Fight Club as far as wiping out society's debt. Looking forward to more episodes.
