The ****ing Pre-Season/Training Camp Thread (2019/20)

Yeah they just keep talking that it's bad or they aren't sure because it's new players. I get that with Ceci but it's really weird how the Barrie pick up hasn't been talked about more.
Its cause most of these media tards dont equate getting an offensive minded dman as improving the d

Gotta give goat props. He could easily have been waived this year but he has come in and flat out earned a spot. Hope it translates to the regular season.

Not sure tima is winning himself a job tonight.

Nah, his lack of NHL tools are showing. Which is troubling at almost 23. He needs to add a step in speed/acceleration or something because you can see that the hands and IQ are there to be something, but he's not big/strong enough to carve out space with his body and positioning, while not being fast enough to find the openings with his feet.

On a less positive note, I'm increasingly concerned about Kappy's offensive limitations. Not great passing skill and weak vision too.

He's probably a north/south winger who is good everywhere and puts up 25/50 every year. But to put it in perspective, he's a couple months older than Timashov. We probably haven't seen his best yet, but yeah there are some vision limitations

Having a 3rd pair defender that you can trust to make the right play with the puck every time like Sandin is gonna be such a nice luxury.
