Re: OT: Recent Movies You've Seen/TV Shows You Watch

yeah, in There Will Be Blood he didn't do anything new, and was actually a bit hammy.

his similar character in Gangs was much more original.

Seriously though, if he's going to make claims he needs to back them up. He's now claimed that Floydian was gay (post-death), was offed by government agents, that Jake Horton was going to be a first round pick (when no such player was drafted), and other nonsense. He's admitted to sexually assaulting innocent patrons at nightclubs, and claimed he has free energy.

He needs to get called out on his bullshit. No more enabling from a small group on here that finds his schizophrenia / multiple personality disorder "charming" or entertaining.

Jermey isn't the only person on this board with severe mental illness. I've been saying it for years, Teeds is schizophrenic.

Finally saw The Dark Knight Rises and boy, do I regret not seeing it in IMAX. I've complained recently how films like Argo and Skyfall fell short of the hype. TDKR lived up to it completely. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it as The Dark Knight fell short of my expectations and I like Begins better. Everything about it was terrific. My fav film of the year. It grabbed me from the opening sequence and loved it.

Also watched Lawless last night. It was a bit of a letdown. John Hillcoat made two amazing films previously I loved in the Proposition and The Road (Best film of 09' IMO).

Maybe it's Shia hate because it did have an excellent(Shia did get beaten up though) cast but I didn't care much about the characters or story as I would have liked.

I'm a Guy Pierce fan but he was a little hammy in it.

Whatever I am you are the ugly punk of the board, and I wouldn't want that title. Give that blowup doll a poke for the board archie.

Speaking of mental illness, getting any more pig dna injected into your genetically modified dna this winter?

I remember when the crazy came more naturally....now it feels forced and tiresome.

Also saw the Amazing Spider-Man and enjoyed it. I thought it was better than the Raimi films (although re-doing the first one only 10 years later does feel a little unecessary).
