He’s in an ideal opportunity to do so, cause if there’s one thing all the players have said about Postecoglou, it’s that he makes sure you know he doesn’t care if you make a mistake…..he cares if you’re not trying to be aggressive/creative….he can accept a error being made from trying to be offensive, he can’t accept being too conservative.
So I think as these weeks begin to mount where he’s got a full week of training with no midweek game, as well as tons and tons of in game touches every week….his confidence & play on the ball should hopefully just get better and better.
another thing I forgot to mention, and it’s a bit hard to know just how much credit he deserves when watching from home…but the defense is always really well organized, and very rarely exposed, despite it often just being Romero and Van De Ven, and there being all sorts of space in behind the tucked in fullbacks.
