OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

4.5? Wasn’t it 6 before? Is this one of the new changes?
No, it has always been 4.5 innings (if the home team is ahead.) If the visitors are ahead, you have to play 5.

The rule change related to game length is that if a game is rained out before it’s official, they resume it later where they left off. Pre-pandemic they would just cancel it and play the whole thing again. It’s made for some weird situations like when Danny Jansen was batting for the Jays and catching for the Red Sox during the same at bat.

I haven't been so invested in years, so I'm fuzzy on some of the rules. Could've sworn it was more than 5 innings.

Max obviously demanded that he get to face the top of the order again, because it sure looked like they wanted to bring in the bullpen to start this inning.

Let's see what he can do.

I guess the Judge K makes it worth it even with the leadoff walk.

let's see if the bullpen can come through in the bigtime clutch now.

Borucki's dominance vLHP this year probably makes him an upgrade over Fluharty despite being useless vRHP.
