Without intending to be negative, I seriously ask if he does have a good track record? He's been around, yes, and was attempting a rebuild in New York that appeared sound, even if the owners ran out of patience. That may be no fault of Gorton. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.I understand but at least he has a good track record. I’d rather that someone with a bad track record. I’m going to assume that Molson has vetted Gorton sufficiently.
One thing that looks positive to me is that at least he was going about it the right way in New York, regardless of what the owners thought. Now they may be reaping the fruit he left behind, aided by Gallant.
