He’s better than Lindgren so yeah, Lindgren will he gone soon.
 
Hutchinson is playing well tonight. Maybe he makes the case for himself. I just want someone Babcock can trust to play more than B2B games.
 
Petan is likely on the roster. Whether he plays is another matter. He's been good but not great in the preseason.
 
I suspect Babs is gonna like Gravel. He's made a few nice plays with plenty of body.

I think everyone will be grateful if he can bump Harpur from consideration.
 
I am getting hopeful that we have made some legit scheme changes. In every game I've watched we seem more structured defensively and on the breakout.

Maybe it has more to do with the players doing what they're suppose to, and taking their defensive responsibilities seriously.

Breakouts are much improved. Helps to have guys who can move the puck throughout but I suspect it also help that DJ ain't designing it.

Yeah, we can chalk it up to the players trying harder or some shit, but the possibility that DJ's absence being a major reason has to be considered as well. Hakstol is a legitimately good defensive coach by all accounts.

I mean, shit, the toys didn't end up in Ottawa by mistake, eh.

I've read good stuff on Hakstol too (although Flyers fans didn't much like him as HC).
 
Ago-Shore-Petan line have all played well up against the habs' 1st line all night.

That line I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a plain better line than goat/spezza/whoever

Yeah, I saw the same opinions regardig Hakstol as HC, but meh. He's not HC here, we have our own problems in that slot. If he gets us playing close to as strong a defensive system as Philly, we're golden.
 
Flyers fans overrated the hell out of their team, is all.

Though I have to say I like their team this year.
 
Korshkov has been way better tonight than his previous two games. Might be something there but he surely needs a year on the Marlies.
